If you are still in manual mode, eg. you don't use the dishwasher for everything, then here is a very handy kitchen item ...

The humble Plate Rack! Yes indeed, and you know what is so great about it and why there'll be one in every one of my kitchens ... you just put your well rinsed plates on it, while still dripping wet... and they just go right on dripping and dry themselves. Seems to me the simple solutions are always the best.
